1 In-Line Homogenizer For Modified Modified Bitumen Plant
We are offering a superlative range of High Shear In-Line homogenizers. These are developed for the solubilisation & disintegration of polymers into bitumen for the production of the refined bitumen. The body walls have the facility of electric heating that ensures that the product doesn't solidifies or cools inside the machines. The machines make sure that heat reaches to all areas where residue accumulates.
Sealing means a carbon/graphite fiber gland packing that is developed for operation on bitumen. The standard mechanical shaft seals are available as per the application. Moreover, the batch size can also be customized. As like all other units, our interchangeable stators can also be tailored for different processes.
Modified bitumen production rubbers & polymers like EVA, APP, SBS, PVC, etc. are mixed with bitumen, mainly used in the development of roofing felts and road surfaces. The polymers modify bitumen to increase its flexibility, physical stability and resistance to extreme temperatures. Some polymers like SBS are not easy to disperse/dissolve and need high shear to gain a satisfactory mixing time. But with our jacketed in line mixers, these polymers can be easily dissolved. The polymer/bitumen mix is recycled via In-Line homogenizer where the high stator/rotor work head quickly disintegrates the pieces of polymer. This high shear action reduces the whole process time.
